Inés Gowland is an Argentinean filmmaker whose work has screened worldwide, including such festivals as Sundance, SXSW, Clermont-Ferrand, Rotterdam, Tribeca and San Sebastián, amongst others.
She specializes in narrative films, especially focusing on creating a visual language that services story and the characters above all.
Inés was selected for Berlinale Talents 2026, the ASC Vision Mentorship Program 2019-2020 and is a member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers.
She has an MFA in Filmmaking from New York University, where she became a Graduate Fellow for Cinematography, won the Nestor Almendros Award for Cinematography and was a finalist for the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Cinematography 2017.
